Spring is one of the prettiest times of the year. Flowers are in bloom, the hillsides are lush and green, and everything seems fresh. It’s hard not to feel optimistic surrounded by all this beauty.
This month we also become a little Irish. Don’t forget to wear green on the 17th!

Panning for Gold
I took this photo in San Francisco by using a technique called panning, which is when you move the camera at the speed of the moving object.
I had a particular photo in mind when I was taking this picture of the cable car on Powell Street. The photo is not what I envisioned, but I like it anyway. And because it didn’t come out exactly as I wanted, I have another reason to visit San Francisco.

Maybe you don’t share my sense of humor, but I love the quirkiness of this photo. I love the handmade sign and the ambient light that created the purple hue. I also love the reminder that what you are looking for might be right around the corner. The guests at this wedding were looking for the bar. I was looking for an offbeat photo.
